Hey, I'm Jelle van Straaten, a media and game composer based in Enschede, where I’m currently studying MediaMusic at ArtEZ.I write music that tells stories, often mixing JRPG, Japanese influences and jazz harmony to create something that really fits the world of the project.My style swings from orchestral to fully electronic, depending on what the project needs. I love working as part of a team and figuring out how music can really bring a game, film, or anything in between to life.

First Call:
Kiro discovered a book that had mysteriously appeared on his doorstep during his childhood. Every page was blank except for the first, which bore the name of an ancient magic tower . Now old enough and with his curiosity piqued, he embarks on his first call.Beyond the Fields:
Kiro walked from his home, making his way through the village and across the open farmland, where golden fields of grain stretched out under the sun. As he approached the entrance to the ancient forest, he felt a mix of courage and excitement. He then looked back with a sense of nostalgia and sadness at leaving behind his family and friends, casting a final glance at his home and the life he knew before stepping into the mysterious depths of the forest.Into the Ancient Forest:
Kiro stepped into the forest and made his way in. He set up a campfire and spent the night under the stars. When the sunrise woke him, he noticed a path beginning to glow. As he walked along it, he ventured even deeper into the forest. Along the way, he spotted a small creature watching him from the shadows of the trees.
